Packaging for third parties

One of the many activities carried out by Van Geest Nurseries is packing of flower bulbs, perennials and shrubs for third parties. Because we have many years experience we can safely assure our customers that they can expect to receive high quality product. 

With our fully automatic packing machines, we pack product in special packaging material with ventilation holes, allowing air flow around the product to ensure it is delivered in first class condition. We can also attach a capper card to the bag and print text directly on to the bag. Adding peat or shavings to the bag to help keep the product in better condition is no problem. Delicate product is packed by hand to avoid damage.

Whether a customer requires one bulb packed in a small box, one hundred bulbs in a net or even a complete range combined into a showcase, we are able to supply them. We can collate orders into mailing outers, or supply in bulk for customers to collate themselves. Customers may provide their own product or we can purchase the product on their behalf. We have the right contacts that can help with the development and design of printed materials. On the

Supplying product in bulk either in boxes, crates, cubi boxes or large bags is also part of our service. Because we have many years experience we are well placed to advise on the best way to pack most product. We can pack and despatch both large and small consignments all over the world. A customer wishing to organise despatch direct from our premises using their own courier can make significant financial savings.

Some countries require special licenses, product cleansing or Ministry inspections. prior to despatch and we will, by prior agreement, make all the necessary arrangements.
